I drew this Jean Grey piece for fun during some downtime last week.
The original X-Men class uniforms are a great design!
Drawn with Copic warm gray markers and Pigma Micron markers.

Quite lovely!
I’ve never liked the original black and gold school uniform for Jean until John Byrne tweaked it during his X-Men: The Hidden Years series– Jean had ran out of her green mini-skirt uniforms and modified her original uniform by adjusting the cut of the trunks, trimmed the neckline and dyed her yellow flared mask black. It finally looked like a uniform a girl would want to wear…!

Very nice. I have a fondness for the original uniforms and the modified versions of they used in the X-Men First Class comics.
