New York Comic Con 2012

I’ll be at theNew York Comic Con this Thurs-Sun, Oct 11-14, 2012.

You can find me in Artists Alley at table #Y2 with superstar writer/inker, Andy Lanning.

I’ll have original art, prints, and sketchbooks for sale. I’ll also be drawing commission sketches. I do not take a list, so get to my table early to beat the line!

Here are my convnetion commission sketch specs:
Head shot black and white on 7″x10″ (roughly) art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $40
Head shot grayscale Copic markers on 7″x10″ (roughly) art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $60

Half figure black and white on 9″x12″ art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $100
Half figure grayscale Copic markers on 9″x12″ art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $125

NOTE: I prefer not to take a request list or do commissions for people to come back and pick up later.
I draw them made-to-order while you wait, hang out and chat. A line can form pretty quick. So it’s good to hit my table early!

APPEARANCES:
I’m signing at the Marvel Booth from 11am-12noon on Friday, Oct 12.
Watch me draw a WildGuard character on a Chevy Spark in Artist Alley 11am-1pm on Sunday, Oct. 14

Also! I drew this Carol Danvers Captain Marvel watercolor piece for NYCC’s charity auction for Saturday night, Oct. 13th. Check out the speed video of the art being created and the finished art below.

See you at NYCC!

  1. Hi Todd, Hope all is well. I will be a NYCC all weekend and I was hoping to get a 1/2 figure 9″x12″ Sketch or maybe something on a sketch cover from you but would like something a little different, So i wanted to run it by you before I come bugging you at Comic Con.
I saw that Tebow piece you did and thought it was amazing! So I was hoping for either a Guy Gardner in a NY Jets jersey or a Tim Tebow in a Green Lantern uniform, is this possible?

    • A Guy Gardner in a Jets uniform is the most doable. Hit my table early to avoid the lines. I generally do not take a commission list for the weekend. See you in a few days!
