From 1998-2003, I got to help launch a new series at DC Comics with the legendary comics writer, Peter David. We did a series called Young Justice. I have been a fan of his writing since I was a teenager and having the opportunity to work with him was a thrill and honor. He has not only been a friend but a supporter of my art. Peter was instrumental in opening doors for regular work at Marvel on his Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man series in 2006-2007. In 2021, we did an X-Men Legends story. That makes 71 comics Peter and I have done together so far!
Having worked on so many comics together and seeing Peter and his family at many comic cons across the U. S., they are very special to Dawn and I.

Last year, Peter suffered a stroke and mild cardiac arrest.
There is a GoFundMe page to raise money to cover his medical bills and care. The recovery has been slow going and the David family still can use our help! Amidst medical bills and care, they are also in need of a new roof on their house as winter is drawing near.

I have drawn up this all-new, one-of-a-kind, original drawing of the 1998 Young Justice original 3 boys, Robin, Superboy, and Impulse on a Young Justice (Brian Michael Bendis era) sketch cover to auction on eBay to help raise some more money for Peter and his family. The proceeds (after applicable eBay and PayPal fees) from this auction will go to Peter’s GoFundMe account. This auction will end 10am Pacific Time on November 16, 2023.
