Todd Nauck autographs, art for sale, and commission options/prices SPECIFICALLY for COMIC CON CAPE TOWN:
CONVENTION COMMISSIONS OPTIONS/PRICES
Limited number of commissions and limited spots for each option each day of the convention depending on panel/interview/signing responsibilities and time to draw commissions
First come first served, a new list taken at the start of each day that Todd Nauck arrives at his artist’s alley table. Todd will be appearing at the convention Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday.
One commission per attendee
All commissions single character only
Marvel or DC Comics character requests preferred (with the exception of certain characters at artist’s discretion)
No celebrity likeness/movie versions of costumes
No personal likeness or personal creator owned characters/creations
Anime or Video Game characters may be declined depending on artist’s familiarity with the character
“Half” figure commissions are from character’s head to thigh/below knee depending on the shape of the character
Attendees are encouraged to have alternate character choices ahead of time in case their first choice is not viable
Todd can definitely offer these two options each day for as many as he can reasonably take on as a limited list:
Pencil art profile head shot on 6”x9” art board or attendee’s sketch cover: R300
Line art 3”x3” (roughly) profile remarque i(n acrylic paint pen) on attendee’s comic cover or Funko POP/collectible: R500
CGC grading (or other comics grading services) for commissions drawn on sketch covers, add R400 to the commission price. (NOTE! This does not include the comics grading service’s fee. Check with your comics grading service to see what they charge to grade a sketch cover commission.)
These following options (not guaranteed ) could be available depending on how much extra time Todd might have each day. These options take significantly longer to draw and the availability each day are not guaranteed.
Inked head shot on 9”x12” art board or attendee’s sketch cover: R900
Inked and watercolor head shot on 9”x12” art board or attendee’s sketch cover: R1700
Inked half figure on 9”x12” art board or attendee’s sketch cover: R4000
Inked and watercolor half figure on 9”x12” art board or attendee’s sketch cover: R6000
AUTOGRAPHS:
Todd will sign most comics for free with some exceptions:
Multiples of the exact same comic cover, are R50 per additional comic signed. (Maximum limit of ten multiples of the exact same cover)
Todd charges R400 per comic autograph for CGC or graded comics services.
(NOTE! This does not include the comics grading service’s fee. Check with your comics grading service to see what they charge to grade a signed comic.)
ART FOR SALE:
Todd Nauck have original 11×17 comic book art pages of varying prices for sale
Limited edition prints: R200 (while supplies last.)

Here are my current convention weekend commission prices/options and how it works for me during the weekend. (These are not my studio commission or pre-con commission prices!)

Convention Commission specs (single character*):
- Head shot black and white on 7″x10″ (roughly) art board, on your sketch cover comic, or personal sketchbook: $80
- Head shot color Copic markers on 7″x10″ (roughly) art board, on your sketch cover comic, or personal sketchbook: $130
- Half figure black and white on 9″x12″ art board, on your sketch cover comic, or personal sketchbook: $275
- Half figure color Copic markers on 9″x12″ art board, on your sketch cover comic, or personal sketchbook: $375
- Remarque on your comic book cover**, line art profile head: $50
- Remarque on your comic book cover**, full color head: $100
- CGC grading (or other comics grading services) for commissions drawn on sketch covers, add $20 to the commission price.
(NOTE! This does not include the comics grading service’s fee. Check with your comics grading service to see what they charge to grade a sketch cover commission.) - *NOTE: Commission requests that require celebrity or actor likenesses may be declined. No personal or your creator-owned characters, please.
- **NOTE: Most remarques will be done in my hotel room for pick-up the next day.
AUTOGRAPHS:
I will sign 5 (five) comics for FREE (no multiples of the exact same cover).
Autographs for comics over the allotted 5 free comic autographes, are $5 per comic signed.
I charge $20 per comic autograph for CGC or graded comics services.
ART FOR SALE:
I’ll have original 11×17 comic book art pages, limited edition art prints, and some pre-drawn 9×12 commissions for sale.
