I’m appearing at Limited Edition Comics in Cedar Falls, Iowa with writer, Phil Hester this Wednesday, April 10th, for the launch of our NEW series, Invincible Universe!
I’ll have limited edition prints, sketchbooks and original art for sale as well as drawing my convention style commission sketches.
Can’t make it to the store signing? Follow me on Twitter for a chance to win a free sketch. It’s my “Sketch Retweet Contest”. Just click “retweet” on any/all sketches with the #invincibleuniverse hashtag and one lucky person will receive a free grayscale marker, single character head sketch. Check out what the WonderCon 2013 winner chose, Peter Parker/Superior Spider-Man!
So be sure to pick up a copy of Invincible Universe #1 on Wednesday and be sure to tune in to my Twitter feed to retweet all of my sketches!

I will be at WonderCon in Anaheim this weekend, March 29-31. You can find me at table AA-126 in Artist Alley.
I’ll have sketchbooks, prints and original art for sale. And I will be doing my convention commissioned sketches. I don’t usually take a sketch list, so get in line early to avoid a longer wait.

Head shot grayscale Copic markers on 7″x10″ (roughly) art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $60

I was lucky enough to spend 5 years working with legendary writer, Peter David, on the DC Comic’s series, Young Justice as well as another 2 years on the Marvel Comics series, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Peter and his family have been great friends to my wife, Dawn and I.
We were shocked and saddened to hear Peter had suffered from a stroke in December of last year. He is quickly on the mend and getting back to health. But in the meantime, hospital and physical therapy bills are mounting. While insurance covers some of it, many of us that have had the pleasure of working with Peter have donated original art to auction off to help defray as many of those costs for the David family. The auction has been spearheaded by Fallen Angel artist, JK Woodward. You can find all the art available for auction as well as other cool ways you can help via JK’s blog: HERE.
Here are direct links to the Young Justice and Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man pages I have donated. The auction ends tomorrow!
